Daily Bounties

Every day, CHOAM posts three bounties. Complete them for credit rewards.

How It Works

• 3 missions per day, rotating at UTC midnight
• Press B from any sector to open your bounty panel
• Progress updates automatically as you complete actions
• Claim rewards instantly — no need to return to a port
• Use the Route Scanner in the Auto-Pilot panel to find profitable port pairs for Trade Credits missions

Mission Types

Difficulty Tiers

Each mission is ranked Easy, Medium, or Hard:

Pro tip: Easy Pay Taxes missions are the fastest credits in the game. Pay tariffs at a StarDock in CHOAM Protected Space (FedSpace) to count toward your bounty.

Rerolling

Don’t like a mission? Reroll it for credits.

• Cost: max(500, floor(reward × 0.5))
• A 4,000-credit mission costs 2,000 to reroll
• A 30,000-credit mission costs 15,000 to reroll
• You can only reroll uncompleted, unclaimed missions
• The replacement mission is the same difficulty tier

Strategy: Reroll impossible missions (e.g., Claim a Planet when you’re poor). Keep easy credits.

Claiming Rewards

1. Open the bounty panel (B)
2. Look for the green Claim button on completed missions
3. Click to deposit credits immediately

Note: You must claim rewards the same day. Missions reset at UTC midnight.

Progress Tracking

Your progress updates in real time:

• Killing an NPC increments Kill NPCs
• Trading profit increments Trade Credits
• Warping to a new sector increments Visit Sectors
• Colonizing a planet increments Claim a Planet
• Paying CHOAM tariffs increments Pay Taxes

Toast notifications appear when you complete a mission during gameplay.

CHOAM Bounty Leaderboard

Your lifetime claimed bounty total appears on the CHOAM Bounty leaderboard tab. The more bounties you complete, the higher you rank.

Daily habit: Check your bounties first thing. They shape how you play that day — a Trade Credits mission means focus on ports; Kill NPCs means hunt pirates.

Daily Login Bonus

A separate bonus from bounties — claim 7,500 credits and 100 XP once every UTC day, no mission required:

• Claim from the bounty panel or player menu
• Resets at UTC midnight (same schedule as bounties)
• Stacks with mission rewards — you can claim your bonus AND complete bounties on the same day
• The “claimed at” timestamp prevents double-dipping before midnight
