Discord Activity Now Protects Exact Locations

Galaxy News and Bounty Board posts no longer publish sector numbers or last-seen coordinates.

Galaxy News and Bounty Board remain a place to celebrate major events without becoming a general intelligence feed. Galaxy News identifies the galaxy but omits the exact sector where combat, destruction, robberies, or defense suppression occurred.

The Bounty Board has one deliberate exception: when a captain first crosses the CHOAM wanted threshold, the one-shot notice includes the sector where the qualifying kill occurred as a last-reported location. It is not live tracking, does not update as the target moves, and later kills do not repeat the location announcement. Becoming wanted now gives bounty hunters an actionable lead while keeping ordinary activity private.

The game still records and presents location details through its normal in-game systems. Outside that narrow bounty consequence, the public Discord boundary protects recent player positions and strategic deployments from persistent, searchable disclosure outside the game.
