A successful Planet Buster shot deserves more than a status line. After a Photon Missile destroys a planet, the sector screen now briefly fills with a terminal-style impact burst, a shattered ASCII planet, and flickering ASCII flames before returning control to the pilot.

The effect runs only after the server confirms destruction and does not change Planet Buster costs, requirements, rewards, or consequences.
