Public Changelog
Player-Built Port Treasuries
Player-built ports show their 3% trade fee, collect it in an owner treasury, and record withdrawals and robberies in the Captain's Journal.
What changed
Player-built ports now charge a visible 3% owner fee on successful player trades. The Market shows the gross quote, owner fee, and final cost or payout before you trade.
Port owners can inspect their treasury, review recent income, withdrawals, and robbery losses, then withdraw credits to their active ship in the same galaxy for 0 Action Points. Successful treasury robberies and owner withdrawals appear in the Captain’s Journal.
NPC trades do not create owner fees. Port growth continues to use gross trade volume, so trade activity and treasury income remain separate measures.
Why it matters
Port ownership now has a transparent, bounded economic payoff tied to real player trade. Captains can see the fee before committing to a deal, while owners can track the income their infrastructure earns without changing NPC trade or port-growth rules.
Fixed
Standard-port trades now persist cargo and credits with the port inventory update.
