Public Changelog
Photon Missiles and Owned Planet Destruction
Buy a Photon Missile at StarDock, destroy one of your own planets for 120,000 credits plus 1 AP, and reroll for a better planet class with a fresh Genesis Torpedo.
What changed
Photon Missiles are now available at StarDock
You can now buy a Photon Missile at StarDock for 120,000 credits.
- Carry limit: 1 per ship
- Fire cost: 1 Action Point
- First release scope: your own planets only
Destroy one of your own planets
Open one of your planets while you are in the same sector, switch to the Danger tab, and confirm the launch.
Destroying a planet permanently removes:
- colonists
- stored resources
- fighters
- citadel progress
This is meant to support the classic reroll loop:
- create a planet with Genesis Torpedo
- decide the class is not worth keeping
- destroy it with a Photon Missile
- launch Genesis again and try for a better class
Sector Bank behavior is now defined
If the destroyed planet was your only Citadel Level 5 world in that sector, the Sector Bank for that sector is removed.
If another one of your Level 5 planets still exists in the same sector, the bank remains available.
Why it matters
This gives planet-focused players a costly but intentional way to reset a bad planet roll without waiting for a larger conquest or terraforming system.
