What changed
Raider Engagement
- Hostile Raider NPCs now show an Engage action directly in the sector view.
- The X keyboard shortcut now targets hostile Raiders first, then falls back to neutral NPCs.
- Raider combat now uses the same direct combat flow as other NPC attacks without requiring you to warp out and back in.
Captain’s Journal
- Historical backfilled Q-cannon death events no longer display placeholder text saying the Q-cannon spent
0 resources. - Backfilled/estimated events now say the resource spend is unavailable for that historical event.
- Live Q-cannon events with real resource-drain data still show the exact resource spend.
Oceanic Planets
- Oceanic planet fighter storage increased from 2,000 to 12,000.
- This better matches their large population capacity and high fighter production potential.
What this means for play
- Raiders are easier to fight intentionally when they remain in your sector after the entry encounter.
- The Captain’s Journal is clearer about which old Q-cannon events were estimated.
- Oceanic colonies can stockpile a more useful defensive fighter reserve before production pauses at capacity.
