Bug Fixes: AP Sync, Planet Caps, Routing & Combat

Five player-reported bugs squashed — Action Points now update correctly, planet resource storage is capped, transport respects cargo limits, route overlay advances after encounters, and NPC combat no longer throws server errors.

What changed

Bug fixes

  • Action Points now correctly decrease after warping — The warp button showed the AP cost, but the counter sometimes didn’t update after the jump. Fixed.

  • Planet resource storage is now properly capped — Planet stockpiles could grow far beyond intended limits. Caps have been lowered to meaningful levels across all planet classes, and fighter garrisons are now capped too. Existing overages were corrected.

  • Planet transport now enforces limits — Withdrawing resources from a planet no longer ignores your ship’s cargo hold capacity. Deposits are blocked if they’d overflow the planet’s storage. You must also be in the same sector as the planet to transfer resources.

  • Auto-route no longer gets stuck after a fighter encounter — If you were on a stepped warp route and ran into tolled fighters, paying the toll would let you enter the sector but the route overlay still pointed to the same sector as “next hop.” The route now correctly advances after a successful encounter resolution.

  • NPC combat server errors fixed — Choosing “attack” against an NPC sometimes returned a server error with no damage dealt. This now resolves properly.

What this means for play

  • Your Action Points counter is trustworthy again — warping costs 1 AP and the UI reflects it immediately.
  • Planet stockpiles are now bounded by meaningful storage limits. You can’t dump infinite resources onto a planet, and you can’t withdraw more than your ship can carry.
  • Stepped warp routes (Plot Course → Warp) flow correctly through fighter encounters without getting stuck.
  • NPC combat (fight/flee/bribe) is reliable — no more silent errors when choosing “fight.”
