Public Changelog
Smooth Play β Route Overlay, Quick Trade, Combat Preview
SectorView becomes the only screen you need: persistent route guidance, one-click port trading, and threat intel on every warp lane.
What shipped
Persistent Route Overlay β After plotting a course via W Warp To or K Nearest StarDock, a cyan route bar stays visible as you warp. It shows your current hop, total distance, the next-hop sector, and a βWarpβ button. The route path appears on the mini-map. The next hop is highlighted on the warp lane list with β NEXT. Cancel any route with C.
Inline Quick Trade β When docked at a port, a compact trade panel appears directly on SectorView. Buy and sell commodities in one click with smart quantity caps (credits, cargo space, and port supply are all respected). A cargo bar shows utilization. Green flash on success, red on error. The full Market (M) is still there for multi-commodity browsing.
Combat Preview on Warp Lanes β Before jumping, each warp lane now shows exactly what awaits: hostile fighter counts, mine estimates, and your own deployed forces. A β³ marker appears when intel is more than 5 minutes old. Safe sectors show β Clear in green.
Threat Confirmation β Warping into a sector with active hostiles now shows an inline confirmation: ββ Warp to Sector 42? 3 hostile fighters Β· ~12 mines.β Plot Course and route overlay warps skip this β you already saw the route.
Why it matters
Until today, the core gameplay loop (warp β assess β decide β act) required jumping between 4+ screens. Now SectorView gives you route guidance, quick trading, and threat intel β all on one page. The game feels faster and more fluid without losing any power-user features.
