What shipped
- Captain’s Journal (
J) now provides persistent sector intel per active ship, including last-known port snapshots. - Warp To… (
W) routes to arbitrary sectors, supports ID or name matching, and allows in-modal “warp to next hop” travel. - Local Scanner (
S) adds a compact 2-hop tactical view to SectorView with visited state, danger level, port class, and StarDock markers. - StarDock helper (
K) remains available for nearest-dock routing. - Legacy
/loglinks still redirect to the Journal route for compatibility.
Why it matters
Exploration now retains memory between sessions, route planning is faster, and nearby tactical awareness no longer depends on manual note-taking.
Notes
Movement is still manual and turn/AP bounded by design.
